I LOVE YOU - It's easier to say it when we were younger..

Salam everyone,

Today, I feel so blessed. My life is so wonderful and thank you God for all the great things you have bestowed upon me. Yesterday, while I was brisk walking at the lake near my house, I realized how wonderful it was to be able to walk, run and enjoy the scenery. Gosh..how can sometimes I take things for granted....
Earlier in the afternoon, I took my daughter to my office. As I was busy doing my work, she was busy pasting little pieces of paper on my table.

She said "JAngan tengok Ibu...Nanti dah siap boleh..hehehe." She asked me not to look at what she was doing.
And so I kept to my promise til the end. And as usual, when it's time to go home, I forgot what was the big 'project' all about until I entered my room today...

I think pictures speak louder than words..So,you can see for yourself..the younger we are, the easier it is to express ourselves. I wonder if I would be able to hear this (or see it) from her when she gets older...when she leaves for college...or when she leaves the house to have her own family.....

What about you my students? When was the last time you said these three magical words to your mum or dad?
If it has been long enough that they have not heard it from you...well, why don't you grab the phone and say it..... before it is too late.

I love you.

err ija, yat needs to vet n approve comments before it appears on her blog, just in case she might get comments from her over-enthusiastic (such as yourself, ;D))follower, that might not be appropriate for public domain. Hence the delay lah!

Yat, i second your emotion, kids are fitrah thus they have no malice in whatever expression they say or do. So bask away and consume every single morsel of attention that they'll present to us.

As it happened to us, they will be coloured as they get older, I pray for all of us (who hv small kids now), to be granted the wisdom from the All Mighty to be able to colour them with the brightest and shiniest colours so that that our kids be able to shine through whatever dark and drab pallette that life might dish out on them in the future...

i agree with you mdm..as we get older, is hard for us to express our feelings toward our parent.however, it seem easy to tell that 3 precious words to bf or gf! i'm wondering myself..i hardly said 'i love you' to my parents..i dont know whether it was because of ego or shy...normally i will express my feeling towards them by action.hug them...kiss them in the cheek and forehead...and many more..your post inspired me to express my feeling by words...i wish i can do that and i will one day...tq mdm...nuratiqah_d..le4300k

Admittedly, it's not easy for me to say this three words to anybody. I prefer to say it through my actions rather than words. Need a lot of practice! hehe..

I love my family very much. I never say " I love you" as my mom never say "I love you" to me. However, we know that we love each other very much. I always try to save my money so that I can give some presents to my mom...it is because only through a present card, I can tell my mom that I really love her very much. Same goes to my mom..hehehe

It’s been 7 years she had gone. I don’t have the chance to say that words. But I always pray for her blessings. Mom, U are always in my hart and love U forever and ever. May Allah bless her and grant her peace.

I agreed with you madam..it hard to express your feeling as we get older..However for me, I always tell my parent "I Love You" before I ended our conversations through phones. Sometimes, I will tell them via messages. In my family, we have this king of tradition every time we are going to bed or wake up. We will hug and kiss our parent while telling them how much we love them and hope we can see them again tomorrow morning. It kind of silly but I feel we never know when we will die. Therefore, appreciate your parents and family more as we don't know when they will be gone from our sight. Show it through your actions and words.

Assalamualaikum wbt mdm,

It's sweet to see your daughter( if I'm not mistaken) try to picture her feeling through drawing. Kid never lie and I believe that she try to show you how lucky she was to have you as her mother.

For me, art such like drawing is a good method in learning process to develop our kids talent and creativity. TQ - sharul -

Everyone love their parents. Me as well. Maybe most of the time I didn't say it directly but I believe my parents know that I love them very much. - sharul -

Frankly, i feel awkward saying 'I Love U' to my parents n siblings rather than to my friends.Alright,I'm ready for your face expressions guys!
But, honestly i am more comfortable saying it to others who are not my family members. believe me, I still cannot figure out what is my problem~ hehe
tongue? or egoism? *sigh*

Perhaps, I prefer to deliver the love to my parents by actions, through hugs, kisses, respect their decision, polite while dealing with them etc.
I think, do the love is much more meaningful than just saying it.

p/s: this is just personal opinion. I don't have any attempt to hurt anybody or make you guys angry. TQ
